Background:

​

Elisabeth Bjørkhaug is a senior lawyer at SGB, affiliated with the firm’s Real Estate Department. She has over ten years of experience in insurance and tort law, with particular expertise in non-life insurance products such as liability insurance, homebuyer’s insurance, guarantees, property damage, and recourse claims. Elisabeth has extensive experience in claims handling and dispute resolution for insurance companies, as well as solid litigation experience before the courts.

 

She also brings broad leadership experience, having built and led a real estate department and held commercial responsibility. Through this work, she has gained valuable insight into various aspects of the insurance industry – from product development and drafting of insurance terms, to efficient and profitable claims settlement, auditing, and improvement processes.

 

Elisabeth is also an experienced speaker and has delivered courses for Forsikringsformidlerskolen and several real estate agency chains.
