Background:

​

Henrik Renner Fredriksen is a partner in SGB. He works broadly in the area of commercial law, with particular emphasis on contract law and retail. Henrik has special expertise in agency and distribution law and franchising. He has considerable experience in the area, and sits, among other things, on an international expert committee on agency and distribution law. Henrik is also the author of the Norwegian chapters on agency and distribution law in Kluwer Law International's "International Encyclopaedia of Agency and Distribution Agreements". For the past three years, Henrik has been ranked at the top under "Up & coming" in the category Commodity Trading in Finansavisen's annual lawyer selection.

 

Together with lawyer Magne Mjaaland in SANDS, Henrik has published a commentary book to the Agency Act at Universitetsforlaget: Agency Act (universitetsforlaget.no)

Henrik has also worked extensively with public procurement, and sat as a member of the government-appointed Simplification Committee, which came up with proposals for new procurement regulations in 2014.

​

Henrik also has considerable experience and expertise in the field of purchase law (purchases, consumer purchases and tradesman services), and is currently deputy chairman of the Consumer Complaint Committee.
